Paolo Contis says he is a ‘work in progress’
Paolo Contis admitted he is a “work in progress” and said he is currently “fixing” his life.
On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Kapuso star talked about his current life situation.
“Katulad nung sinabi ko before, Tito Boy. Marami akong kailangan ayusin sa buhay ko and this is a big leap, ika nga, sa pag-aayos ng buhay ko, that I am busy,” Paolo shared.
“Malaking bagay na dire-diretso tong trabaho because it’s really part of the fixing of my life,” Paolo said. “Personally, alam kong marami akong mali. Alam ko personally na maraming bagay na hindi ako deserve, but I’m here.”
[It's a big deal that I have continuous work because it's really part of the fixing of my life. Personally, I know I committed a lot of wrongdoings. I know there are plenty things I don't deserve, but I am here.]
According to the Kapuso host, the trust that GMA, TAPE, and Sparkle gave him is a big deal. "I’m very thankful na hindi nila tiningnan yung mga personal kong mali. Pero they value yung work ethics ko, yung kung ano yung nadadala ko sa table kapag ako’y nagtatrabaho,” Paolo said.
[I'm very thankful that they aren't focusing on the wrongs I've done, and that they value my work ethic, what I can bring to the table when I am working.]
For Paolo, "it's the learnings."
"Kailangan matuto ka sa mali mo. Hindi ibig sabihin, hindi na, hindi ka na magkakamali but right now, yun yung iniiwasan ko.”
[I need to learn from my mistakes. It doesn't mean that I will never commit mistakes, but right now, that's what I'm avoiding.]
During the “Fast Talk” segment, he said that his wish for himself is to be “a better person.”
“I am Paolo Contis, and I’m a work in progress,” he added.
Paolo joined the new hosts of “Eat Bulaga” after Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon left TAPE Inc.
He is also one of the cast members of "Bubble Gang," which relaunched and moved to a new time slot.
In October 2021, Paolo’s ex-partner, LJ Reyes, confirmed their separation.
Earlier this year, Paolo confirmed his relationship with Yen Santos. The two starred in the movie “A Faraway Land.”
