The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) on Monday summoned the producers of "It's Showtime" over a scene between its hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.
According to a report on "24 Oras," Monday, the MTRCB received a complaint about what happened during the "Isip Bata" segment of the noontime show on July 25.
Vice and Ion, who wed in a non-legal ceremony in Las Vegas last year, can be seen eating a cake during the segment. The complaint alleged that the scene portrayed "indecent acts."
The respondents were given five days to comment on the complaint.
GMA Integrated News has reached out to "It's Showtime" for a statement on the issue.
