'Black Rider' releases action-packed trailer

“Black Rider” dropped a full, six-minute trailer, and we're seated.

The trailer sets the series in the city of Manila. In the first minute, lead star Ruru Madrid, who plays Elias Guerrero, fights a gang to protect his family and then gets shot in the chest. He survives and then works as a delivery rider.

Elias’ life takes a turn for the worse when he accidentally bumps into Calvin Magallanes’ (Jon Lucas) luxurious sports car and they get into a physical fight. The two make plans to take their revenge on each other.

“Black Rider” also tackles themes of social class, and how the rich use their power to challenge the lives of the poor.

Joining the star-studded cast are Kylie Padilla, Yassi Pressman, Matteo Guidicelli, Carla Abellana, Katrina Halili, Isko Moreno, Joaquin Domagoso, Shanti Dope, Rainier Castillo, Jayson Gainza, Empoy, Zoren Legaspi, Raymart Santiago, Gary Estrada, Monsour Del Rosario, Roi Vinzon, Kier Legaspi, Raymond Bagatsing, Joem Bascon, Gladys Reyes, Arra San Agustin, Almira Muhlach, Maureen Larrazabal, Rio Locsin, and many more.

It is directed by Richard Arellano and Rommel Penesa.

“Black Rider” premieres on November 6 at 8 p.m. on GMA Telebabad, GTV, and GMA Public Affairs' Facebook and YouTube livestreams.
