Jennylyn Mercado wants to work with Dennis Trillo in a movie

Jennylyn Mercado wants to once again work on a project with her husband, Dennis Trillo!

In Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Jennylyn said she is hoping that they could share the silver screen together.

Jennylyn and Dennis last worked together in the 2020 drama anthology series "I Can See You: Truly. Madly. Deadly."

"Sana si Dennis makatrabaho ko sa isang pelikula," the actress said.

Jennylyn is set to star in an upcoming romantic comedy film. In September last year, the actress was announced to star with Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson in "All About My Wife," the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean film.

The Ultimate Star said she is looking forward to do a light project after her heavy scenes in "Love. Die. Repeat." She admitted that her character as Angela in the series is one of her most challenging roles so far.

"From this project na medyo, hindi medyo, mabigat at challenging, gusto ko naman kahit paanong mag-enjoy, mag-relax," she said.

Jennylyn took a break from working in 2021 when she discovered that she was pregnant with her daughter, Dylan.

Before she returned to work with "Love. Die. Repeat," she starred in the Philippine adaptation of "Descendants of the Sun."

"Love. Die. Repeat" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Black Rider."
