Beauty Gonzalez, Kelvin Miranda get real about doing kissing scenes

Beauty Gonzalez and Kelvin Miranda are no stranger to kissing scenes. When they starred in afternoon series "Loving Miss Bridgette" in 2021, the pair made everyone kilig with their chemistry in intimate scenes.

The pair will return in the upcoming movie "After All," and based on the trailer, we will once again get to see sweet smooches from the on-screen couple.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Beauty and Kelvin shared how they prepare for kissing scenes, saying that of course, they brush their teeth first.

"Ako talaga pag may kissing scene sa harap ng ka-kissing scene ko binubuksan ko 'yung toiletry bag ko," Beauty said.

According to the Kapuso actress, it is her way to show respect to her on-screen partner.

"I don't wanna smell bad. I don't wanna kiss someone na mabaho ang breathe. Ma-chichismis ka 'non at forever kitang maalala na mabaho 'yung breath mo," she said.

The King of Talk then reminded Beauty of the time she said that it is easy to kiss Kelvin because of his handsome looks.

"Oo naman Tito Boy. Magpapakaplastik pa ba ako? Mahirap talaga makipaghalikan kapag ganon, you know, hindi ganon ka-gwapo. 'Pag guwapo, kahit nakapikit, go!" the 32-year-old actress answered.

Kelvin then looked back to the first time he and Beauty had a kissing scene in "Loving Miss Bridgette," admitting that he felt awkward at first.

"Noong unang beses nag-take two kami. Kasi nanginginig ako at masyado akong nagmamadali. So, nag-adjust sila Direk," he shared.

Kelvin and Beauty's upcoming romantic film "After All" is directed by Adolfo Alix Jr and will hit cinemas on February 28.

Aside from "After All," Beauty currently stars in "Stolen Life" with Carla Abellana and Gabby Concepcion. She also stars in "Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis."

Meanwhile, Kelvin is also working on the upcoming spin-off series of "Encantadia," titled "Sang'gre." He will play the role of Adamus, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Tubig.
