Is Michael V. ready to host a noontime show again?

Is Michael V. ready to host a noontime show again?

Michael V. is also known for his hosting chops — apart from his comedy — but he stepped out of hosting duties in 2019.

Now that he has renewed his contract with the Kapuso network, is Bitoy ready to take some hosting gigs again?

“Parang hindi pa time. There’s a reason why I left 'Eat Bulaga' before. I think it’s the same reason kung bakit hindi pa siguro ako sasabak,” Bitoy told to GMA News Online in the sidelines of his contract signing with GMA Network on Monday.

Bitoy was among the hosts of the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” from 2004 to 2016.

In a past vlog, the multi-awarded comedian explained he got so busy with various projects that he had to step down to the noontime show for a while.

Aside from “Eat Bulaga,” Bitoy also hosted the game show “Hole in the Wall,” alongside Ogie Alcasid, as well as the talent show “Bitoy’s Showwwtime” and “Lip Sync Battle Philippines.”

With a career spanning almost three decades, Bitoy accomplished a lot in his career, including leading GMA shows "Bubble Gang,” and the TV sitcom “Pepito Manaloto.”

He often goes viral for his parodies like "Uhaw," "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" and "Raining in Manila."

In 2019, Bitoy embarked on his film venture as a director in "Family History" with GMA.

In October, the Kapuso comedian was honored as one of the comedy icons of Philippine showbiz by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

Michael V. renewed his contract with the Kapuso Network on Monday.
