Vice Ganda celebrates birthday on 'It's Showtime' GMA debut: 'Pinakagusto kong regalong matanggap'

Aside from the show’s debut on GMA Network’s main channel on Saturday, the entire “It’s Showtime” family also celebrated Vice Ganda’s birthday!

Following her grand birthday performance, Vice once again expressed her gratitude for GMA Network and ABS-CBN.

“To GMA Network, maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po sa pagbibigay sa’min ng tsansang muling maabot ang mas maraming manonood,” Vice said

“Maraming maraming salamat po. Thank you very much, Lord, for this very wonderful day. Ito ‘yung pinakamalaking regalo, pinakamahalaga, pinakamakabuluhan, pinakagusto kong regalong matanggap ngayong taon na ‘to kasi ito ‘yung regalong hindi lang para sa akin, kundi para sa napakaraming tao,” she added.

Vice said that this partnership is for the madlang people as well as the staff members of the two networks.

“Sa lahat ng mga staff nating napakahuhusay, nakapasisipag, at sa ating lahat na mga hosts,” she said. “Ito ay isang regalo na lahat tayo ay mapapasaya kaya maraming-maraming salamat, Lord, for giving me this wonderful blessing, with this wonderful gift this year.”

Vice said that such an event is very inspiring, especially for the fans of the noontime show who witnessed their journey throughout the years.

“Kaya dun sa spoken part ng production ko, ilang beses ko pinaulit-ulit ‘yung dream, lose, win. Kasi yun talaga ‘yung totoong gulong ng buhay,” she said. “Hindi papayag ang Diyos na nasa ilalim ka palagi.”

“It’s Showtime” has been airing on the Kapuso network’s GTV since July 2023, but it just started airing on GMA Network’s main noontime slot on Saturday. ABS-CBN’s long-running noontime show had a grand contract signing at the GMA Network Studios on March 20 to celebrate the partnership. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
