Cassy Legaspi on real score with Darren Espanto: ‘Best friends talaga kami’

Cassy Legaspi has spoken up on the real score between her and Darren Espanto.

In an “Unang Balita” report, the Kapuso actress said, “It’s so hard to explain what we have, pero best friends talaga kami.”

Her statement came after Darren said he had no girlfriend during the premiere episode of "It's Showtime" on GMA-7. 

In her interview on UB, Cassy clarified she and her mom, Carmina Villaroel, are not insinuating anything with their posts.

She added that she likes posting song lyrics depending on her mood, whereas Carmina posts bible verses and quotes.

Cassy and Darren have long been the subject of dating rumors. They attended the GMA Gala and ABS-CBN Ball, and had also traveled to Batangas, Japan, and California together.

This week, Darren and Kyline Alcantara, who was previously linked to Cassy’s twin Mavy Legaspi, were teased on “It’s Showtime” for their involvement with the family.
