Jackie Gonzaga flusters Anjo Pertierra with pickup lines on 'Unang Hirit'

"Unang Hirit" weatherman Anjo Pertierra is not immune to "It's Showtime" host Jackie Gonzaga's charms!

Jackie is the morning show's special guest on Tuesday, and she brought laughter and cheer to both hosts and viewers.

During her guesting, Jackie showed off her clever pickup lines, targeting none other than Anjo.

"Anjo, speaking of weather, may nabasa akong parang 'di naman totoo. Uulan daw? Parang 'di ako naniniwala," she said.

When Anjo asked, "Bakit?" She answered, "Kasi nung nakita kita biglang gumanda 'yung araw ko."

For her second pass, she quipped, "Pwede tayong maging bagyo. Tingin ko kasi may PAGASA tayo."

Anjo dramatically fell from the couch amidst the hosts' squealing.

When Lyn Ching asked Jackie if Anjo has a chance with her, she answered, "Binagyo ko na nga kami, wala pa ba?"

As the hosts were wrapping up Tuesday's episode, Anjo gave Jackie a bouquet of flowers.

And he didn't miss the chance to deliver a pickup line of his own!

"Payong ka po ba?" Anjo asked. "Kasi umulan man o umaraw, hinahanap-hanap kita."

"It's Showtime" debuted on GMA's main noontime slot on April 6. The episode was a top-rater, earning a solid 6.8% rating on GMA Network’s main channel while registering a 9.7% from combined overnight data of channels GTV, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel and Jeepney TV. This is according to Nielsen Philippines NUTAM People Ratings.
