'Queen of Tears' actor Kwak Dong Yeon shares behind the scene snaps from set

Kwak Dong Yeon shared a glimpse of the “Queen of Tears" set.

On Instagram, the actor posted behind-the-scenes snaps from the taping of the hit K-Drama after its last episode aired.

“Geunwoo’s family is roaring. Thank you. #QueenOfTears,” Dong Yeon wrote.

Some of the photos he posted was an adorable selfie with child actor Goo Shi Woo who played the role of Geun Woo, his son in the series. 

Dong Yeon played the character of Hong Soo Cheol, the brother of the main character Hong Hae In, who was portrayed by Kim Ji Won.

Queen of Tears” had a successful finale on Sunday. It is now the officially the highest-rated episode of any drama in Korean channel tvN history.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 16 of “Queen of Tears,” which aired on Sunday, recorded a rating of 24.850%, overtaking “Crash Landing on You” which garnered 21.683% in February 2020.

As of writing, the hit K-Drama series dominates Netflix Philippines’ chart as the Top 1 TV show.

Top-billed by Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, “Queen of Tears” also made history as the “most-watched program of any kind” in South Korea on Saturday for episode 15.

"Queen of Tears" follows the story of Hong Hae In (Ji Won), a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and her husband Baek Hyun Woo (Soo Hyun), a lawyer and the legal director of the company. The couple is on the brink of divorce.

“Queen of Tears” full episodes are now streaming on Netflix.
