Bianca Umali says transparency with Ruru Madrid prevents jealousy when working with other stars

The relationship of Kapuso Prime Gem Bianca Umali and Prime Action Hero Ruru Madrid is going strong despite their busy schedules.

Bianca is currently engaged in taping for "Sang'gre: Encantadia Chronicles," while Ruru is occupied with his role as Elias in the action-drama "Black Rider."

Despite being paired with different artists onscreen, Bianca told Aubrey Carampel on "24 Oras," Wednesday, that she does not feel jealous that Ruru is paired with Vivamax A-lister Angeli Khang in the series.

"Meron na kaming sistema in the relationship na we will really put an effort into being transparent and honest with each other kasi kami ni Ruru parehas kami magtrabaho," she said.

"Parehas kami kung gaano ka-committed and 'yung passion namin sa trabaho namin, we work on the same level."

Ruru also said in a previous interview with Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras" that he and Bianca are open about the scenes they have to do at work. This was after he and Angeli had to do a kissing scene for "Black Rider" on the first day they met on set.  

"Kami kasi, usapan namin sa mga ganiyang mga bagay, wala naman kaming pigilan," said Ruru.

"Hindi naman namin pinapakialaman ‘yung trabaho ng isa’t-isa. Kumbaga sa aming dalawa ni Bianca, dapat lang maging transparent kami kapag may mga ganiyang eksena."

The Sparkle couple was named Most Popular Love Team for Television at the Box Office Entertainment Awards 2024 early this month.
