Justin Lim bids goodbye to his ‘Pulang Araw’ character First Lt. Yamada

Justin Lim has said goodbye to his “Pulang Araw” character, First Lt. Yamada.

On TikTok, Justin shared some clips from his last shooting day for the Kapuso series.

His long day started at 4:30 a.m. and he shot 12 scenes.

“Grabe ‘yung journey na ‘to. To think nag-start ako as an extra, lumaki nang lumaki ‘yung role ko hanggang naging Yamada, First Lieutenant Yamada,” he said.

According to him, working on the project was a good experience, and he met a lot of really talented people.

“I’d love to do this again honestly,” he said.

In the caption, Justin expressed gratitude to the show and GMA Network.

“Maraming salamat, Pulang Araw. Maraming salamat @GMA Network sa pagtiwala sa akin. Sobrang saya po ng experience na to. Sa uulitin!” he said. “Paalam, First Lt. Yamada.”

“Pulang Araw” stars Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and Alden Richards.

It airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras.” It is also streaming on Netflix.
