Alden Richards organizes ‘Green Bones’ block screening
Alden Richards is showing his all-out support for Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid’s Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry, “Green Bones.”
According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, Alden organized a block screening for the Kapuso film.
“Excited akong mapanood kasi parang the movie is very interesting from its trailer and siyempre support tayo sa mga fellow Kapuso actors natin na sina Mr. Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid,” Alden said.
Also present at the block screening were Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, and Jay Ortega.
The lead stars expressed their gratitude for the support they have been receiving.
“Nakakatuwa na gano’n ‘yung suporta nila sa ‘min,” Dennis said.
“Nakakatuwa na meron pong mga gano’ng klaseng mga tao katulad na lang ni Alden na very supportive sa kaniya pong mga kasamahan dito sa industriya,” Ruru said.
Since making its cinema debut, “Green Bones” has been trending on social media and also had a sold-out first day.
“Pinag-uusapan namin ni Kuya Dennis, ‘di kami nakatulog eh kasi kakabasa, lagi pong may bago at hanggang ngayon, wala pa po kaming nababasang, alam mo ‘yon, parang negatibong komento. It’s all praises at kung gaano sila naapektuhan sa pelikula, ano ‘yung mga realizations nila,” Ruru said.
“Ngayon, pangalawang beses namin siyang napanood kanina, gano’n pa rin ‘yung effect. Gano’n kagaling si Direk Zig. Gano’n siya ka-masterful sa storytelling,” Dennis added.
“Green Bones” is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs, with its screenplay written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. It is directed by award-winning Kapuso director Zig Dulay, and produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.
