Vina Morales, Gladys Reyes to star in upcoming series 'Cruz vs. Cruz'

Vina Morales and Gladys Reyes are set to star in the upcoming Kapuso series, “Cruz vs. Cruz.”

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Saturday, the project marks Vina’s return to the network after more than two decades.

“Actually, hindi ako mapakali. Hindi ako mapakali. Sobrang—alam mo ‘yung mixed emotions? I had butterflies in my stomach going down the car nung nasa basement na. Sabi ko ninenerbyos ako, ano ba ‘yung feeling na ganito,” Vina said, adding that she felt excited.

“SOP” was the last show Vina did with GMA Network.

Meanwhile, “Cruz vs. Cruz” also marks Vina and Gladys’ first project together.

“Sobra akong na-excite, at the same time din naisip ko, ‘Teka lang. Nagserye na ba siya ever sa GMA?’ Parang hindi pa ‘no? So, very first teleserye niya ‘to sa GMA. I’m so happy na magkasama kami,” Gladys said.

Neil Ryan Sese, Pancho Magno, Lexi Gonzales, Kristoffer Martin, Elijah Alejo, and Caprice Cayetano will also star in the series. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
