Jennylyn Mercado to release single ahead of comeback album

We will be seeing the singer side of Jennylyn Mercado soon!

In an interview with GMA News Online during her contract renewal with GMA Network on Tuesday, the Kapuso actress gave an update about her upcoming album.

"Almost done na [ang album]. One song na lang tapos na kami. This quarter, ilalabas na namin 'yung first single," Jennylyn said.

No other details such as the album genre, theme, and track list were revealed so far.

The Ultimate Star first talked about her music comeback in 2023. In May of last year, Jennylyn shared a little sneak peak at her upcoming album.

Jennylyn's most popular songs include "Kahit Sandali," "Sa Aking Panaginip," and "Moments of Love," which she sang with Janno Gibbs.

Her last releases were the single "Merry Christmas, Darling" in 2017 and the album "Jen's Gems" in 2016.

She is also set to make a big screen comeback with the movie "Everything About My Wife," which also stars her husband Dennis Trillo.
