Ysabel Ortega joins 'Sang'gre' cast

Avisala, Ysabel Ortega! The Sparkle star is joining the cast of "Sang'gre!"

On Reddit, GMA Network shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Ysabel with co-stars Sanya Lopez, Gabbi Garcia, and Solenn Heussaff taken from the set of the Kapuso fantasy series.

"Ano kaya ang gagampanan ni Ysabel Ortega sa mundo ng mga 'Sang'gre?'" the caption read.

No other details were revealed about her character yet, but as seen in the photo, Ysabel was wearing a warrior costume.

"Sang'gre" is a spinoff of the iconic Kapuso fantaserye "Encantadia."

It will feature the the newest keepers of the brilyantes Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Terra (Bianca Umali).

Aside from Ysabel, Rhian Ramos is among the new cast members of "Sang'gre," where she will play the role of the Ice Queen Mitena, the twin sister of Cassiopeia, a character played by Solenn Heussaff in the series that aired in 2016.

Meanwhile, Solenn, Gabbi, Sanya together with Rocco Nacino, Ruru Madrid, Glaiza De Castro, Kylie Padilla will all reprise their respective roles from the 2016 remake.
