Camille Prats on role in upcoming series 'Mommy Dearest': 'Pinakamalalang kontrabida that I have ever done'

Camille Prats is set to portray her worst kontrabida role yet in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series, "Mommy Dearest."

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, the said kontrabida role was a challenge to take on for the Kapuso actress and host.

"Ito siguro I would say 'yung pinakamalalang kontrabida that I have ever done in the 32 years of my career in this industry. I found it very challenging, and for the first time, I wanted to do something different," she said.

Camille will star alongside Katrina Halili and Shayne Sava. 

While Katrina was formerly known for her kontrabida roles, Camille's character in the series will be the one maltreating Katrina's character.

Per Katrina, she can't help but laugh whenever they do scenes together.

"Every time na magka-scene kami, magmamaldita siya tapos ako naman mag-iiiyak, natatawa ako tapos natatawa din siya. Tumatawa ako kasi parang, 'Ako dapat 'yun e' tapos 'Ikaw dapat 'to e.' Parang naiisip ko kasi sa role ko parang mas bagay siya sobrang kawawa, sobrang mabait," she said.

The upcoming series also marks Winwyn Marquez's return to acting after giving birth and being a hands-on mom to he r daughter Luna.

The Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 is likewise set to make a pageant comeback as she will be representing Muntinlupa in Miss Universe Philippines 2025.

"I don’t want to have regrets lalo na gusto ko rin makita ng anak ko while she’s growing up na yung mommy niya kumbaga she pirsued her dream," Winwyn said.

"Mommy Dearest" will air on GMA Network this February.
