David Licauco to star in upcoming film 'Samahan ng mga Makasalanan'

David Licauco is making a big screen comeback!

On social media, GMA Pictures announced that the Pambansang Ginoo is set to star in the upcoming film "Samahan ng mga Makasalanan."

According to the post, David will play the role of a church deacon.

"Kung si David Licauco ang magdadala sa 'yo sa tamang daan, sasama ka ba?" the caption read.

Netizens in the comment section can’t help but gush over David’s new role.

"Father, I do," a user commented.

"'Pag ganito ka guwapo ang Pari jusko araw-araw ako nasa simbahan," another netizen said.

The film is set to have its theatrical debut on April 19.

Aside from David, the film also stars child actor Euwenn Mikaell, Joel Torre, Sanya Lopez, Jay Ortega, Chariz Solomon, Betong Sumaya, Buboy Villar, and Liezel Lopez.

David previously starred in "Pulang Araw" alongside Jay, Sanya, Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards and Dennis Trillo.

He also starred in the romantic comedy film "That Kind of Love" with Barbie last year.
