Martin Del Rosario reveals receiving indecent proposals early in his career

Martin Del Rosario got real about the indecent proposals he received in his career and how he learned to deal with them.

In his guesting on “Lutong Bahay,” the Kapuso actor shared that he received indecent proposals early in his career. Many of them were from men, and they happened both through text and real-life conversations.

Host Mikee Quintos asked Martin if the proposals included a price.

“Minsan, oo. Minsan, ‘yung iba, direct,” the actor said.

Martin also said that he now understands how to avoid indecent proposals.

“Ngayon kasi, marunong na ‘ko eh. Dun palang sa simula na [tinanong], ‘umiinom ka ba?’ Wala na. ‘Di ka na mag-reply,” he said.

“Dati kasi nung bata ka, naïve mo, [mag-re-reply ka,] ‘Ay, opo.’ Hanggang sa mapunta sa situation na, awkward ka na, stuck na. It’s either maging rude ka or nice ka,” the actor added.

Martin added that he already understands if an indecent proposal is happening right from the start of the conversation.

Martin is best known for playing Prince Zardoz in “Voltes V: Legacy.” He also starred in “Asawa ng Asawa Ko.”

He currently plays the antagonist Ivan in “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.”
