Buboy Villar admits Faith Da Silva was one of his 'what ifs'

For Buboy Villar, Faith Da Silva will always be one of his "what ifs" in life.

During the latest episode of "Your Honor," Buboy made the revelation when Faith spoke about her experience of her guy friends falling for her. 

"Isa sa mga what if ko nga siya [Faith]. Hindi, talaga, alam mo, kahit ganito na mukha ko, mahiyahin din ako," Buboy said, adding that he sometimes ask himself why did he didn't pursue his feelings.

Upon hearing Buboy's sudden confession, Faith jokingly asked Buboy: "Eh bakit hindi ka nag-jump? Ngayon wala na, may jowa ka na!"

Even though things didn't blossom into something special, Buboy said he still respects what he and Faith currently have today.

Ending his confession, Buboy said a heartwarming message to Faith explaining why someone falls in love with her.

"Alam mo, sa mga sinasabi mo na-in love sa'yo, alam mo kung bakit? Kasi ka-in love, in love ka talaga. 'Yun 'yun, totoo yun. Totoo 'yun, kaka-in love," he said.

Although Buboy's feelings towards Faith may seem unrequited, it turns out that the Sparkle star is just waiting for him to confess!

During the  "Executive Whisper" portion of "Your Honor," Faith said that of all the celebrities that tried to pursue her, there was the one whom she waited for for quite some time.

"Hinihintay ko lang siya na magtanong," she shared.

When Buboy asked her who it was, Faith answered: "Ikaw."

She then looked back to one of her fondest memories with Buboy when they were still kids.

"Nung bata pa lang kami nito ni Buboy hindi ko talaga alam kung natatandaan niya. Bata pa lang kami magkaibigan na kami. Siguro seven years old yata or eight years old," Faith recalled.

"Tapos meron mga artista na parang pinagti-tripan-tripan kami ganyan. Tapos parang, sinabi nila sa akin na i-kiss ko daw si Buboy dito [sa cheeks], e, eight years old pa lang kami. Tapos, kiniss ko siya, 'tapos kilig na kilig talaga ako," she said.

When teased by Tuesday about making things real between them, Faith said she's already happy for Buboy.

Addressing his feelings for Faith, Buboy admitted that he questioned his self's worth.

"Sa sobrang gusto ko si Faith, napangunahan lang talaga ako ng kaba. Siguro kinuwestiyon ko 'yung sarili ko na, 'sasapat ba ako sa Faith Da Silva?' Kaya ngayon mas pinili ko na suportahan kita, kahit ano mang desisyon mo sa buhay. Mas gusto ko na andito lang ako para sa 'yo," he said.

In a previous report, Buboy admitted that he has a crush on Faith. The two have worked in the musical fantasy series "Engkanto Academy" in "All-Out Sundays."

Buboy has two children with ex-partner Angillyn Gorrens. They are named Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael.

The ex-couple were together for several years and even got engaged in 2016 before Buboy confirmed their split in 2020. They remain friends following their breakup.
