Jon Lucas joins ‘Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan’ as new villain

Jon Lucas is joining "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" as its new villain!

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, Jon will give life to the character of Lizardo.

“Abangan niyo po ang kaniyang karakter dito. Magiging maaksyon, madugo, kaya sana  pakatutukan niyo po ito,” lead star Ruru Madrid said.

Ruru said that the past scenes they filmed were so intense that his voice became hoarse.

Ruru and Jon have also worked together for “Black Rider.”

Meanwhile, Ruru is off to Los Angeles with his “Green Bones” co-star, Sofia Pablo, for the upcoming Manila International Film Festival.

They will be gracing a meet and greet event on March 8 alongside Denis Trillo.

“Siyempre minsan lang naman makapunta ng US since ang layo, so lalo na ngayon, it’s for ‘Green Bones,’ so very honored and excited,” Sofia said.

"Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" airs weeknights at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" on GMA Prime.
