Ruru Madrid, Sofia Pablo arrive in Los Angeles to represent 'Green Bones' at MIFF 2025
Ruru Madrid and Sofia Pablo have arrived in Los Angeles, California, to represent "Green Bones" at the 2025 Manila International Film Festival.
On Instagram, Sparkle GMA Artist Center shared photos of the two Kapuso stars arriving in style at the Los Angeles International Airport.
"Green Bones" bagged several awards at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Child Performer.
Produced by GMA Pictures, "Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs.
It follows prisoner Domingo Zamora (Dennis Trillo), who is notorious for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Now that Domingo is up for parole, the newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what.
"Green Bones" also stars Michael De Mesa, Alessandra De Rossi, Ronnie Lazaro, Kylie Padilla, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Iza Calzado, Sofia Pablo, and more.
The Manila International Film Festival runs from March 4 to 7.
