Sanya Lopez saddened by Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto's breakup: 'Pero I respect their decision'

Sanya Lopez admitted that she was saddened by the breakup of her brother, Jak Roberto, and her friend, Barbie Forteza.

In her GMA Integrated News Interview with Aubrey Carampel, Sanya said that it hurt to know that Jak and Barbie did not end up together.

"Pero I respect their decision kasi sila 'yun eh. Kumbaga andito lang naman ako to support both of them," she said.

However, Sanya feels happy for the achievements of her kuya, including his new house.

"Nakakaiyak. Nakaka-proud for him na finally you have your own house and lahat ng mga pinaghirapan niya. Ang cute lang," Sanya said.

She recalled that they didn't have their own house back then, hoping that their story will serve as inspiration for others.

"Nakakaproud, Ate Aubrey, na unti-unti alam mo 'yun, nakikita mo na ah meron pala talagang nangyari sa life namin. Kasi before, nung bata kami, ang thinking na lang namin pa'no kaya kami makaka-survive? Pa'no kaya kami kakain [nang] tatlong beses sa isang araw?" Sanya said.

The actress said that what they have now are blessings from God, which they are grateful for.

Barbie and Jak were together for seven years before their split.
