After Ivana Alawi, Mavy Legaspi is 2nd house guest in 'Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition'

It looks like Mavy Legaspi is staying inside Kuya's house for a while!

On Tuesday's episode, Mavy is officially named the second house guest in the "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition."

The Sparkle actor was left inside the house as punishment after he and his fellow hosts Gabbi Garcia, Melai Cantiveros, and Alexa Ilacad failed the task that they had to do with the housemates.

"I love you, Mavy! Have fun," Gabbi said as they bid farewell to him.

Aside from Mavy, Ivana Alawi is also inside the house as a guest. However, she is pretending to be one of the housemates as a task from Kuya.

Mavy said he is excited about staying inside the PBB house despite the suddenness of it.

"Parang magiging challenge 'to kasi sanay na ako na usually alam ko na 'yung gagawin ko pero ngayon hindi ako prepared."

"Hindi ko alam 'yung gamit ko, kung may gamit pa man ako. It's something new for me, Kuya," he added.

Still, Mavy had a positive outlook about the situation and took it as an opportunity for the public to get to know him better.

"I feel like ito talaga 'yung chance na makikita nila na simpleng tao lang po ako," he added.

"Kuya" has the same sentiments saying: "Isa rin 'yan sa mga hangarin ko na mabigyan ka ng pagkakataon upang mapakilala ang sarili mo at makilala ang sarili."

Mavy also told the other housemates that he will be staying for a while.

"Huwag niyong isipin na host ako rito. Tratuhin niyo po ako bilang housemate and I'll treat you guys also as housemates and friends and I can't wait to get to know you, guys," he said.

His girlfriend Ashley Ortega could not contain her emotions about the new development: "Siyempre, happy naman ako pero feeling ko aalis na rin siya."

"PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition" is the latest collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN as the show's local edition celebrates its 20th year.

It airs on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.

So far, 15 housemates have been announced: eight Sparkle stars and seven Star Magic artists.
