Ashley Ortega opens up on rift with mom: 'Sana magbati na kami'

Ashley Ortega has opened up about her rift with her mom.

In the "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition," the Sparkle actress shared some bits of her personal life with celebrity house guest Ivana Alawi.

During their small talk, Ashley shared that she hasn't talked to her mom for three years now.

"Three years na kasi akong living alone rin... galit pa rin kasi siya sa akin. I haven't spoken to her in three years," she said.

Upon hearing Ashley's revelation, Ivana said "You know, it's really hard when you fight with your family."

"Oo naman, alam ko naman 'yon. I was living ako lang mag-isa, tsaka si Mavy [Legaspi], jowa ko," Ashley answered, adding that she is still hoping for a reconciliation between them.

"Mag-isa lang ako. I'm a strong independent girl...Sana magbati na kami. Hinihintay ko lang naman siya," sabi niya.

Fifteen celebrity housemates were revealed so far: eight Sparkle stars and seven Star Magic artists.

Aside from Ivana, Ashley's boyfriend Mavy is also a celebrity house guest for the season. He is among the hosts of the show, but he ended up inside the house after they failed a task with the housemates.

"PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition" is the latest collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN as the show's local edition celebrates its 20th year.

It airs on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
