'Game of Thrones' star Iain Glen shares sneak peek as Leonard Wood in 'Quezon' biopic

"Game of Thrones" star Iain Glen gave a glimpse of him as Leonard Wood in Jerrold Tarog's biopic, "Quezon."

On Instagram, the Scottish actor shared some snaps of him on set as the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927.

Iain also posted a photo with Tarog and fellow cast members Mon Confiado, Jericho Rosales, and Benjamin Alves.

"Shooting a film 'Quezon' in the Philippines, playing their last Governor General Leonard Wood, as the country sought independence from American rule. Really wonderful cast and crew. What an adventure. More to follow," he wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Mon, Jericho and Benjamin expressed their excitement over working with Iain in the comment section.

"An honor sir," Benjamin wrote.

"Cheers to more," Jericho said.

"Honored and Privileged! You are an amazing actor!" Mon commented.

Iain is known for playing the role of Jorah Mormont in HBO's "Game of Thrones," as well as Dr. Alexander Isaacs in "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," "Resident Evil: Extinction," and "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," among others.

"Quezon" is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse," which is preceded by "Heneral Luna" (2015) and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" (2018).

The film follows the life of Quezon, a Filipino lawyer and soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.

Jericho will play the role of the late Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon in the film. Mon will reprise his role as Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon's political rival, while Benjamin will play a younger version of Quezon.

Its cast also includes Karylle as Quezon's wife, former First Lady Aurora; Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, the first Vice President of the Philippines; JC Santos as Manuel Roxas, who later became the fifth Philippine president; and Cris Villanueva as the older Joven Hernando, the lone fictional character in the film series.

"Quezon" is set to premiere this 2025.
