Dustin Yu clears air with AZ Martinez over crush issue, teasing

Dustin Yu has finally cleared the air between him and AZ Martinez.

Sunday's episode of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" showed a scene of the two Sparkle stars talking about the tension between them inside the house.

AZ previously admitted to some housemates that she used to have a crush on Dustin and that she dreamt of him. Dustin, meanwhile, is keeping his distance because he is friends with AZ's boyfriend, Larkin Castor.

"Ako, umiiwas lang ako sa asar-asar kasi hindi ko naman ina-assume na…gets mo? Hindi naman ako ganoon. Hindi naman ako sa nag-assume. Iwas lang ako sa…sila Michael, sila Josh, siyempre hindi mo maiwasan mang-asar. So ako, iiwas lang kasi siyempre kilala ko si Larkin," Dustin said.

"Siyempre kapag napapanood niya 'to, anong masasabi niya? So sa asar, oo," he added.

AZ then told Dustin that she asked him if he was OK with the housemates teasing them together.

"Kaya I asked you kung OK ka ba sa asar. Naalala mo 'yung andito tayo? Is it because 'yung pang-aasar, ganon?" she asked.

"Hindi naman. Ako lang talaga kapag inaasar ako, matik na tumatahimik ako kasi nahihiya ako. 'Yun lang talaga ang personality ko," Dustin replied.

AZ said that she was just going along with the humor of the rest of the housemates at first, but she stepped back from it after sensing his discomfort.

"Kaya napaisip ako na lie low na lang ako doon. Kasi at first nakiki-ride lang ako. Nakiki-join lang ako kasi ayaw ko naman maging KJ," she said.

"Eh ikaw naman kasi kung ano-anong pinagsasabi mo," Dustin said, laughing.

"My fault, my fault," AZ said.

She said there is no malice in what she said to Dustin, but he said that does not matter.

"Kahit na. Siyempre kapagka sinasabi mo na 'yan sa ibang tao, nagkakaroon na 'yan ng something. Dadagdag na 'yan ng kung ano-ano," Dustin said.

"Pero at least kung napapanood naman ito ni [Larkin], alam niya na miss mo na siya. At least OK na 'yon. Minsan sa life, ang kailangan nating isipin ay ang present," he added.

Previously, Dustin was lauded by netizens on social media for setting boundaries and respecting the "bro code."

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs new episodes on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
