Will Ashley and Bianca De Vera confess to unresolved 'tension' from their past

Will Ashley and Bianca De Vera finally shed light on their past in Thursday's episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

Two years before entering Bahay ni Kuya, the actors starred in the historic collab series between GMA and ABS-CBN, "Unbreak My Heart."

Setting things straight, Bianca admitted that there was tension between but it never came to a point of confession.

"We really understood each other on a personal level. It was almost one year of taping and hindi ko naman made-deny na there was some sort of tension or attraction na namamagitan sa amin nung time na 'yun pero it never came to a point na nagkaaminan. Never po naming napag-usapan 'yun," she said.

For his side, Will appreciates the closeness that he had with the Kapamilya star.

"Sa pinakita po niya sa 'kin, na-attract po in a way na kumbaga na-appreciate ko 'yung genuine na pinakita niya sa akin. Masasabi ko po na naging masaya po ako, Kuya. Naging masaya po ako ng mga oras po na 'yun," he said.

Bianca felt like a lot of things had changed since the show happened and there were a lot of unresolved feelings.

"Tanggalin na natin 'yun. Sa totoo lang sobrang nahihirapan ako because we both know naman na we know that we have things two years ago was not so good," the actress said. "Sorry if mataas walls ko sa 'yo. For the two years there was like nagbago, nagbago ako tapos ang daming pang hindi natapos napag-usapan."

She admitted that it reached the point where her feelings got hurt.

"Never ko 'tong nasabi or even sa kanya, ayokong aminin sa sarili ko 'to noon. I really, really, really, really, really, really, cared about him two years ago and dumating sa point na aamin ko nasaktan ako," Bianca said.

"Feeling ko hindi siya naging man enough para aminin din 'yun. It took me two years to get over that so siguro seeing him here again. I was just scared to start again," she added.

Both Bianca and Will said they hope that they would be okay again.

"Hindi naman kasi basta-basta okay agad pero gusto kong maging okay na walang awkwardness," Bianca said.

Will said he wants that day to come, "kasi I know ikaw talaga makakaintindi sa 'kin dito."

Bianca said she never thought they'd see each other again in Bahay ni Kuya, "out of all places."

"Your house is a place of friendship, a place of endless forgiveness, and can be a brand new start as well," Bianca told Kuya.

Will added, "Finally mapag-uusapan po namin 'yun and magkakaroon po ng bagong pagkakataon para simulan po namin ulit 'yung pagkakaibigan na nabuo namin dati. Ang tingin ko po kay Bianca kaibigan na malapit sa puso ko po. Unti-unti po nararamdaman ko na bumabalik 'yung pagka-kumportable po namin sa isa't isa."

"Unbreak My Heart" aired in May 2023, and starred Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Gabbi Garcia, and Joshua Garcia as the main cast.

Will and Bianca starred as Jerry and Gwen, who had a romantic relationship. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
