Sparkle GMA Artist Center inks partnership with Republic Asia Media, iAcademy
Sparkle GMA Artist Center has inked a partnership with Republic Asia Media Incorporated and iAcademy!
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Friday, part of the partnership includes giving workshops and scholarships to Sparkle artists and Status by Sparkle content creators.
Present at the signing of the memorandum of agreement were GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes,Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, Leading Advocate for Digital and AI in the Philippines Bran Reluao, and iAcademy President and COO Raquel Perez-Wong.
"We wanted our artists and our Status influencers to be able to learn the best practices in social media marketing, social media control, and how they can monetize their digital assets more," said Atty. Gozon-Valdes.
Reluao also hoped that the workshops would help the artists and content creators to influence "in a more positive way."
Perez-Wong also expressed their commitment to the partnership, saying, "We join Republic Asia and Sparkle GMA in professionalizing and utilizing what's available for us to advance our skills and use what's available for us for the betterment and ensure that we're using them for positive and good change."
A workshop was also held where Status content creator Lottie Bie shared about her content creation journey. Other leaders from the digital media industry also gave talks during the event.
Sparkle artists Cheska Fausto, Lauren King, and more attended the workshop, which tackled social media, artificial intelligence, and content monetization.
"There's a lot of things we can use to an advantage. 'Yung AI pala, in terms of content creation, makakakuha tayo dun ng mga ideas," said Cheska.
