Andrea Torres to have immersion as tahong vendor for ‘Akusada'
Andrea Torres is set to experience being a real-life tahong vendor before she plays the character of one in her upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series, “Akusada.”
According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” Tuesday, the cast of the series already had a story conference, script reading, and look test.
“Meron po akong nakausap na ‘yun ang trabaho niya. So thankfully naman, pumayag siya na ma-interview ko siya, mag-observe ako, and ma-try nang konti na pumunta talaga do’n sa palaot. Kasi gusto kong makita ‘yung life nila and based din kasi do’n mabubuo mo ‘yung kung ano ba ‘yung kinalakihan ng character,” Andrea said.
Andrea will star alongside Benjamin Alves.
“I think naman, with the title of ‘Akusada,’ parang more or less may ine-expect na ang Kapuso na this is very gripping, may suspense, may thrill,” Benjamin said.
The project also marks Lianne Valentin’s first time working with Andrea.
“Straightforward siya sa pagiging maldita niya, walang preno, pasmado ‘yung bibig,” Lianne said about her kontrabida role.
Ronnie Liang and Marco Masa are also part of the series.
“‘Yung training na tinake ko before, ngayon na-a-apply ko din sa trabaho dito sa ‘Akusada,’” Ronnie said.
“Dito, magkakaroon po talaga ng touch of ‘yung mga heavy scenes. Kumbaga mas I’m gonna be trying to connect with people more para mas ma-touch ko ‘yung feelings nila,” Marco said.
“Akusada” is directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata.
