Allen Dizon on refusing offers to enter politics: 'Kailangan ko mag-aral kung papasukin ko'
Why did Allen Dizon refuse offers for him to run for a government position?
On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actor said that he's not yet ready.
Kailangan ko munang i-set aside 'yung career ko and family ko to enter politics," he said.
He agreed that those running for public office should have a fire within themselves.
Baka mapahiya lang ako," he said.
Allen starred in "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap" with Jillian Ward, Carmina Villarroel, Richard Yap, and more.
The Kapuso series aired its final episode in October 2024 after over two years on air.
He has an upcoming movie, "Fatherland," with Richard. It is coming to cinemas on April 19. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
