'Sang'gre' trailer reaches more than 20 million views
The "Sang'gre" hype is real!
The trailer of the upcoming "Encantadia" series spinoff has garnered more than 20 million views since its release on April 11.
According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Monday, the one-minute trailer has already reached 24.4 million views, as of 12 noon today.
Per the official "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" Facebook page, these were the views recorded across Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
The exciting trailer did not disappoint, as it saw the return of the Sang'gres of the 2016 "Encantadia" requel, namely Kylie Padilla, Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez as Amihan, Pirena, Alena, and Danaya, respectively.
It also gave a closer look into the new generation of Sang'gres, Terra (Bianca Umali), Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Deia (Angel Guardian), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and the series antagonist Mitena, played by Rhian Ramos.
Among those who were hyped by the trailer was Michelle Dee.
"My mind was blown, kudos to GMA for just executing that and I'm sure maraming nag-aabang talaga sa bagong 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre,'" she said.
The Kapuso beauty queen also shared that she is a bit biased towards her housemate Rhian, who she calls "asawa" or "wifey." The two started calling each other such when they began living together.
"I have to say medyo biased po ako sa asawa ko sa bahay. Si Rhian kasi she's playing Mitena and grabe I'm just so excited for everybody to see how she's brought that character to life," she shared.
"Grabe talaga 'yung pinaghandaan ni Rhian for that and I'm sure for every Sang'gre that's on 'Encantadia,'" she added.
The upcoming “Sang’gre” series is directed by Rico Gutierrez.
