Josh Ford, Vince Maristela reconcile after tension over 'sopas,' 'Vrent' jokes

Josh Ford and Vince Maristela have patched things up over the "sopas" and "Vrent" jokes that caused tension between them in the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

In the latest episode aired Wednesday, Vince said that he doesn't know Josh that well.

"Si Josh po ay nakakasama ko na po sa mga workshops sa trabaho rin po nagkakaroon ng ilang beses na nagkikita kami sa show ng GMA pero wala rin pong pagkakataon na makipag-kwentuhan. Hindi ko rin po siya lubos na kilala," he said.

Meanwhile, Josh said that he tried to be friends with Vince in the outside world.

"I did not like you outside, straight up, kaya nung pumasok ka nabigla. I was like woah, he's here. You never looked at me, bro. I always try to get close to you. Mabait ka lang sa akin sa harap sa iba. Mabait ka lang sa akin sa harap ng managers natin, sa ibang tao," Josh told Vince.

Josh later talked to Kuya about their relationship outside the house.

"I cannot say that we have a friendship outside. When I first met him, ang hirap lapitan. He's a snob. Pinapansin niya lang po ako kapag may cameras," he said.

"I don't wanna talk bad pero 'yun po kasi nararamdaman ko dati. Minsan nagkikita-kita po kami and ningingitian ko siya, siya po hindi po ngumingiti. Ang bait niya lang po sa akin sa harap ng iba pero 'pag magkasama na po kaming dalawa, hindi niya po ako masyadong kinakausap. Ayoko ng mga ganoon na parang plastikan ba, Kuya?"

Josh said he was shocked with Vince's approach.

"It's so hard to get near you. I want to make friends with people in showbiz kaya nga I tried and nung nakita ko ngang ang kulit mo, nakipag-asaran na ako and 'yung last time na nag-uusap tayo you were like, bro show your kulit pa more sabi mo pa sa akin," the actor said.

"Mas nakita kita na ganito ka pala behind your snob face outside you're a nice person. I'm not saying you're not a nice person. I'm just saying na I got to know you more," he added. "And now I was just shocked that you pointed me out kaya. I own up to my mistake. I'm sorry. I am very sorry bro."

Michael Sager said that joking between the housemates is just a form of love.

Vince apologized to Josh for his approach and promised to get to know him better.

"Pasensiya na hindi ko naisip na na-point out kita sadyang mas nangibabaw lang talaga 'yung nangyari doon sa kitchen," he said.

"Mas kailangan ko pang ipakita sa 'yo kung sino ako para mas maintindihan mo kung saan ako nanggagaling on a deeper level. Sorry talaga kung mali 'yung term na nagamit ko, bullying."
