Kyline Alcantara says she's choosing herself, protecting her peace in new magazine feature

Kyline Alcantara is all about self-love in her current era.
The Sparkle star is April’s cover girl for Cosmopolitan Philippines. Kyline’s shoot followed a summer theme, and saw her dressed in outfits fit for lounging by the pool or nights out.
In her cover story titled, “It's Hot Girl Summer For Kyline Alcantara, But She's Keeping Her Cool,” Kyline opened up about her showbiz journey, which she called “bumpy.”
However, she remains determined and focused.
"I just protect my peace. There are days when you cannot just silence the noise, it's drowning. But, you cannot just sink, you need to focus again and float above the surface by listening to the voices that matter to you," the actress told Cosmo.
Kyline added that in her current era, she is prioritizing herself.
"If you asked me this before, I'm gonna say my family, my friends, me. But right now, it's myself, my family, my friends, and of course, my work,” she said.
"Recently, I've just realized that you need to fill your own cup before you fill someone else’s cup. 'Coz that's the most important thing in the world—yourself,” she added.
Kyline is one of the stars of the upcoming series, “Beauty Empire.” It follows the intense rivalries and high-stakes drama among powerful women as they navigate the beauty industry driven by ambition, revenge, and power.
She stars alongside Barbie Forteza, Ruffa Gutierrez, Choi Bo Min, Gloria Diaz, Sam Concepcion, Chai Fonacier, and Sid Lucero.
“Beauty Empire” is set to premiere soon on Viu before airing on GMA Network.
