Rachel Alejandro to dad Hajji's girlfriend Alynna: 'Thank you for loving him'

Rachel Alejandro thanked Alynna Velasquez for loving her father, Hajji. They would've been together for 27 years after all.

"Thank you for loving him," Rachel simply commented on Alynna's Facebook post Thursday, where she said the two were "the best father and daughter team."

Tagging Rachel on her post, Alynna began by saying "I love you both."

"The strength of your bond and mutual support is immeasurable," she continued.

According to Hajji's long-term girlfriend, the father and daughter are such impactful performers that "every show is a lasting memory" for their audiences. "Bravo," Alynna said.

Saying she "will miss you both being on the same stage singing and dancing together," Alynna reminded Rachel of how proud Hajji is of her.

"Rachel, remember that your dad's mighty proud of you. Always. He will always be there in your heart singing with you," Alynna said as she spelled out Hajji's real name, to emphasize the word angel. "Our ANGELito," she said.

Hajji's death was announced on. Tuesday. He was 70 years old.

Shortly after, Alynna mourned on social media, where she also detailed their final days together, confirmed Hajji’s two-month battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer, and shared they would've celebrated their 27th anniversary that day.

In a later post, Alynna shared bringing flowers to Hajji's Walk of Fame star in Eastwood as she was "unable to go to" the first night of Hajji's wake "for reasons I don’t have control of."

On late Wednesday night, Rachel wrote a moving tribute for her father, where she shared it was Hajji's wish to keep his sickness private, and that he actually performed two more events before getting admitted to the hospital for surgery. — LA, GMA Integrated News
