Alden Richards preparing dance production number for 'Stars on the Floor'
Aside from hosting the upcoming talent competition "Stars on the Floor," Alden Richards will also be performing during a dance production number on the show.
In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Alden proudly said that the show's concept is a first in the country.
"It's the first time that we're gonna be seeing a 'col-labanan' between TV personalities and social media personalities. 'Di pa 'to nakikita sa Pilipinas. This is the first time. This is an original concept of GMA, and parang gugulatin natin 'yung mga audience natin on what we have for them for this show," he said.
Alden is already preparing for his own dance production number.
"Medyo parang, hindi naman kinalawang nang konti, pero parang bumagal lang 'yung pick up. But with this, hopefully, bumalik ulit. Andito pa rin naman pala eh. Andito pa rin 'yung dancing skills natin," he said.
Outside of work, Alden is also prioritizing his fitness journey, going on running and cycling sessions.
"Since malapit na po 'yung Mowelfund fun run, sa May 11 na po 'yan, and I hope naka-register na po ang mga Kapuso natin, I'll be running 16K for that. And on December, I'm gonna be running a half marathon. And hopefully, trinatrabaho ko na rin po ngayon to really get a slot for the Tokyo Marathon next year, which is March 1, 2026," he said.
"Stars on the Floor" will begin airing in June. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
