Shuvee Etrata on dad's letter: 'Para po siyang embrace, parang hug'

Shuvee Etrata was among the housemates who was able to read their letters that Donny Pangilinan brought into the house on Wednesday's episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

Like AZ, Shuvee was brought to tears as she read her father's letter, where he asked for forgiveness, admitted to his faults, and shared his good news about having a job — an issue she earlier opened up about among the housemates. 

But in the confessional, Shuvee likened the letter to an embrace.

"Para po siyang hug na matagal ko na pong gusto matanggap sa kanila," the Kapuso celebrity told Kuya.

She recalled the three years she's spent alone in Manila and how she's not gotten the support she needed from family.

"Ilang beses ko pong nangangailangan ng magulang, ilang beses ko kinailangan yung suporta nila sa akin, never po nila akong tinulungan, kaya lumaki pa lalo yung galit ko sa kanila," she said.

But reading the letter helped push her anger away. "Yung kinakailangan ko na hug na gaming sa isang Ama, natanggap ko po dahil sa letter."

Wednesday's episode was like a rollercoaster of emotions for Shuvee, who could not help contain her kilig over Donny Pangilinan.
