Pinky Amador recalls strong slap by Yasmien Kurdi for a scene: 'Talagang nakalimutan ko 'yung dialogue ko'
Pinky Amador may be a kontrabida that we love to hate, but even she got to be on the receiving end of painful teleserye slaps.
On Thursday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Pinky remembered getting a slap from Yasmien Kurdi. It was so strong that it made her forget her lines.
"As in talagang nakalimutan ko 'yung dialogue ko. Sa sobrang lakas, the whole set, tumahimik silang lahat. Parang 'OK pa ba si Miss Pinky? Buhay pa ba 'yan?'" she said.
"Kasi talagang sa sobrang windang ko, talagang 'Asan na 'ko? Teka muna. Ano na 'yung dialogue ko?' Gano'n! Naku, comedy," she added.
Despite the jolt, Pinky managed to continue the scene without needing a retake.
"Ayoko na ma-take two. Eh, Kuya Boy, sinunod-sunod ko na. Pero it took me a while to remember. 'Ano? Asan na 'ko? Anong gagawin ko?'" she said.
Pinky currently stars as Soraya in "Binibining Marikit" with Herlene Budol, Tony Labrusca, and Kevin Dasom.
Pinky admitted that she feels pressured to make Soraya different from Moira of "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap."
"Kasi more than two years nang nakatatak si Moira sa isipan at diwa ng mga tao," she said. "Soraya is different kasi Soraya is talagang kriminal. Asawa siya ng isang parang mafia boss, and then she took over the job."
"Binibining Marikit" airs weekdays at 4:05 p.m. after "Mommy Dearest." —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
