Jillian Ward joins 'Mga Batang Riles' cast

Jillian Ward is joining the cast of "Mga Batang Riles!"

According to Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the Sparkle star has already visited the set of the GMA Prime action-drama series and met the Riles Boys: Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, and Anton Vinzon.

"It's something different po siya and syempre ang gagaling ng mga kasama ko, so for sure may mga bago akong matututunan," said Jillian.

"Sa role kong ito gusto kong mag experiment, gusto ko mag try ng something new sa style, isa na 'kong batang riles," she added.

The Riles Boys are also excited to work with Jillian.

"I'm excited to work with her dahil sobrang tagal na naming magkakilala. Sabay kami lumaki sa showbiz pero ngayon pa lang kami magkakatrabaho," said Miguel.

"Excited na kong may matutunan kay Jillian and sana may matutunan din siya sa amin," said Kokoy.

Raheel, on the other hand, said he looks forward to working with Jillian anew after starring together in "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap."

"Nag-l-look forward ulit kasi na-miss ko rin po 'yung mga eksena namin sa 'Abot-Kamay,'" he said.

Raheel was also teased by the guys with Jillian, as he and Jillian used to be shipped by fans.

"Ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko, sobra. Masaya po ako para sa sarili ko at para sa aming lahat," Raheel quipped.

Jillian previously starred in "My Ilonggo Girl" and "Abot-Kamay na Pangarap."

"Mga Batang Riles" airs on weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m.
