Josh Ford turns emotional from reading mom's letter, says he hasn't seen family in a year

Josh Ford couldn't help but tear up as he read a letter from his mother on Thursday's episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”

The Sparkle star received the letter through house guest Donny Pangilinan, who went into Bahay ni Kuya as a messenger for the housemates.

Josh's mother wrote, “Dear Josh, una sa lahat, gusto ko lang sabihin na proud ako sa ‘yo. Keep being the kind and genuine person that you are. Makaka-inspire ka and I hope you never forget that."

As Josh teared up, he said, “Oh, mom. I love you, mom.”

Josh also learned that his youngest sibling, Caitlin, celebrated her birthday with a trip to Norfolk.

His mom added, “Super saya sa trip. We went on a boat trip, pero syempre, mas exciting ‘yung thought na one day, we’re all together."

To end her letter, Josh’s mom told him to always take care and that she is sending all her love. She also told Josh to always pray.

Josh spoke to his fellow housemates about the letter and his family situation.

“Story lang, I haven’t seen my family in like, a year siguro. Lahat sila nasa UK, magisa lang ako dito,” he said.

Later in the confession room, Josh told Kuya that he was “super, super happy.”

“Nawala ‘yung mga bigat ko at ‘yung mga iniisip ko dito. And mas lalo akong lumakas para ipagpatuloy ‘yung journey ko dito sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya.”

Other housemates who have read the letters from their loved ones are AZ Martinez, Shuvee Etrata, and Will Ashley.
