Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, Faith Da Silva celebrate 'Encantadia' anniversary with meet and greet

It has been 20 years since “Encantadia” first aired. To celebrate, GMA Network held the event “Sang’gre For a Day” at headquarters.

Employees were encouraged to wear colors following the motif of the new generation of Sang’gres — yellow or brown for Terra (Bianca Umali), green for Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), blue for Deia (Angel Guardian), and red for Flamarra (Faith Da Silva).

Kelvin, Angel, and Faith appeared at the GMA Network Center lobby dressed in their “Sang’gre” costumes. Also there was Imaw, the ruler of Adamya.

The Sang’gres and Imaw posed for photos with GMA Network employees and exchanged “avisala eshma,” or “thank you” in the “Encantadia” language. Bianca was unable to go as she had commitments for the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night.

"Encantadia" first aired on May 2, 2005.

The latest series installation, “Sang’gre,” will follow the new generation’s adventures as they battle a new enemy, Mitena (Rhian Ramos).

The series trailer reached more than 20 million views.

The Sang’gres from the 2016 reboot namely Kylie Padilla, Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez as Amihan, Pirena, Alena, and Danaya, respectively, will also be appearing in the upcoming series.

“Sang’gre” is directed by Rico Gutierrez and will premiere on GMA Network soon. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
