Barbie Forteza says she got starstruck by 'Beauty Empire' co-star Ruffa Gutierrez
Barbie Forteza has now started filming her upcoming series "Beauty Empire."
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" on Monday, the Sparkle star was asked which of her co-stars left her starstruck.
"I'm very, very excited to work with Ms. Ruffa Gutierrez. Super super excited to work with her," Barbie said.
"Lagi akong nasa starstruck sa kanya 'pag nakikita ko siya sa standby area. Kasi ang ganda niya lang! ang ganda-ganda niya lang! And napaka-graceful niya," she added.
Aside from preparing for "Beauty Empire," Barbie is also making the most out of her running era.
In the same interview, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared some tips for her fellow runners.
"Stretching and then I make sure na nakakain ako kahit bread kasi s'yempre para hindi tayo manghina sa pagtakbo. Cool down after tumakbo para hindi mag-cramps at hindi maano 'yung muscles natin sa legs," she said.
Barbie is also set to join a fun run organized by Alden Richards alongside Dingdong Dantes and Kristoffer Martin, among others.
Produced by GMA Public Affairs and based on an original concept by CreaZion Studios, "Beauty Empire" dives deep into the intense rivalries and high-stakes drama among powerful women as they navigate the beauty industry driven by ambition, revenge, and power.
"Beauty Empire" is set to premiere soon on Viu before it makes its debut on GMA Network.
The series also stars Kyline Alcantara, South Korean actor and former Golden Child member Choi Bo Min, Gloria Diaz, Sam Concepcion, Chai Fonacier and Sid Lucero among others. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
