Christian Bautista renews ties with GMA Network
Christian Bautista remains a Kapuso!
The Asia’s Romantic Balladeer renewed his contract with GMA Network on Tuesday and he has nothing but a grateful heart.
“I am deeply, deeply grateful. Maraming salamat po sa pagtiwala and the belief that you've given me through the years. It's really overwhelming to be standing here today and I've been part of GMA for over a decade,” Christian said during his speech.
He also thanked the Kapuso network for giving him a “home,” a “platform,” and a “space to keep growing.”
“Thank you because you're reminding me of what I can do and what I'm capable of and what else I can do,” Christian added.
Present at the contract signing were GMA Network President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, Officer-In-Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Nyma COO Kat R. Bautista.
Christian also sang his hit song "The Way You Look at Me," dedicating the song to his supporters and loved ones.
"You look after me, and I will look after you," he said.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Christian is known for his swoon-worthy ballads such as “The Way You Look at Me,” "Hands to Heaven," and “Please Be Careful With My Heart,” among others.
Aside from being a singer, he is also an actor, appearing in several Kapuso teleseryes such as “Encantadia,” and “My Love From the Star.”
He also previously served as one of the judges of GMA Network’s singing competition, “The Clash.” In 2023, he celebrated his 20th year in the industry with a concert.
