River Joseph, Klarisse de Guzman offer to exchange places with nominated housemates

River Joseph and Klarisse de Guzman both pleaded with Kuya to allow them to take the place of nominated housemates on Tuesday's episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

River wanted to save fellow Kapamilya star Xyriel Manabat from eviction, saying that she has been inside the house for only three weeks and that she has more of herself to show to the viewers.

He acknowledged that his request to trade his spot with Xyriel's was a long shot, but he did it anyway.

"I don't want her to be in this position na close to leaving. Alam ko sobrang lakas ni Xyriel, kaya niya 'to, pero I'd rather sacrifice myself for her," he tearfully told Kuya.

Meanwhile, Klarisse said she felt that she deserved to be nominated instead of Shuvee Etrata, who was penalized with an automatic nomination along with her duo Bianca De Vera for her violations inside the house.

Among her offenses was getting her lapel microphone wet, which happened during the Game Night with Donny Pangilinan. Shuvee jumped into the pool to go after Klarisse, who dived into the water while drunk.

"I think ako po 'yung may kasalanan kung ba't po nangyari 'yung pinaka malaking offense niya Kuya," she said. "Kahit ako na lang Kuya ma-nominate or maalis Kuya."

Klarisse said Shuvee was worried about her when she lost control and felt guilty that this resulted in her getting nominated.

Kuya denied both River's and Klarisse's requests, telling them to allow their fellow housemates to face this challenge or learn accountability for their actions.

The three duos nominated this week are Shuvee-Bianca, Xyriel-Dustin Yu, and Josh Ford-Ralph De Leon.
