David Licauco gives Dustin Yu relationship advice on 'Pinoy Big Brother': 'Kung kayo, kayo'

David Licauco gave Dustin Yu some much needed words of wisdom on Wednesday night’s episode of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”

Dustin first opened up about Bianca De Vera and the state of his heart to his close friend, who arrived as a house guest.

“Parang gusto namin isa’t isa pero getting there, alam mo ‘yun?” he said.

“Natatakot lang ako kasi kilala mo naman ako, bro eh. [Kung] paano ako magkagusto sa isang babae diba, baliw kung baliw bro eh. Malala kung malala talaga eh.”

Dustin then admitted to the Pambansang Ginoo that he likes Bianca. When David asked if Bianca likes him back, Dustin answered, “Feel ko naman.”

David then told Dustin, “It’s nice that you like someone, definitely. Mahirap makahanap ng babaeng gusto mo talaga since ngayon, sinasabi mo sa ‘kin gusto mo siya.”

“Ang sa akin lang, ‘wag ka masyado sigurong emotional,” he added.  

He advised Dustin to think logically and not be stressed or anxious.

"Paglabas mo dito, pwede naman eh diba. So kalma ka lang,” he said.

David added that Dustin should just enjoy their developing feelings for each other and his time in the house.

“Tandaan mo na pangarap mo ‘to dati diba. So whatever happens, in a way, mag-di-dictate din ‘to ng future mo,” he said.

"I mean, it’s nice that you like someone but let things be naturally. Kung kayo, kayo. Kung hindi, hindi diba," he added.

The next morning, David continued advising Dustin.

“Parang feel ko, gusto mo i-control lahat eh, na baka ‘di mo na napapansin na too emotional ka na nawawala ka sa sarili mo,” he said, adding that Dustin was not like that before “PBB.”

"Kung hindi mo i-ko-control ‘yung situation, mas magiging okay. Mag-bi-build kayo ng good dynamic.”

Dustin asked what if Bianca were the emotional one, and David advised to just be there for her.

“Basically, you’re building an unhealthy relationship if simula palang, tina-try mo nang i-control ang lahat. So ngayon palang, build good habits so that in the future, mas okay,” he said.

“Andiyan ‘yung Dustin dati: respectful, maayos, kontrolado, hindi emotional. Tapos may girlfriend ka na gustong gusto mo, parehas kayong nag-go-grow sabay, outside the relationship and inside the relationship. ‘Yun ang magiging healthy,” he added.

Dustin then shared with David the talk he had with Bianca about detaching from each other since they are both nominated for eviction. Dustin said he agrees with it if that is what Bianca wants.

“Hinayaan ko nalang, though masakit, kasi sobrang na-build na namin. Imagine mo bro, everyday kami magkasama,” Dustin said.

The actor added that he is “medyo okay naman” and understands David’s advice to let things be.

David entered Bahay ni Kuya last weekend, and amused viewers by pranking Dustin.
