Get to know Josh Ford, ex-PBB housemate and promising young actor
Josh Ford is one of the latest housemates to get evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." He exited the house alongside his duo Ralph De Leon.
While inside the PBB house, Josh captured the heart of the netizens for his competitiveness and ability to perform physical tasks. He also formed a close friendship with Kira Balinger, who got shipped with him by the netizens.
His PBB moniker is Ang Survivor Lad ng United Kingdom, a reference to the car accident that he survived two years ago.
But who exactly is Josh Ford? Get to know him with these facts below.
1. He is half-British
Josh was born to a British father and a Filipina mother in England, United Kingdom. Although he is currently based in the Philippines for his showbiz career, Josh makes time to go back to the UK every now and then.
2. He is a child actor
As a child star, Josh played various roles in TV series. He made his acting debut as the young version of James Reid’s character in a 2015 TV series.
After taking some time off the limelight, Josh returned to the showbiz industry and took on boy next door roles such as Razille in “Luv Is: Love at First Read,” and his most recent role as Josh Taylor in “MAKA” Season 2.
3. He acted alongside Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes
At a young age, Josh has already acted alongside Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes!
In 2024, he played the role of Gio Wagas in “Jose & Maria's Bonggang Villa” which starred the Kapuso couple.
In the same year, he starred as Aries in “My Guardian Alien” with Marian.
4. An award-winning actor
Josh’s talent in acting didn’t definitely go unnoticed as he has an acting award under his belt.
In 2023, the Sparkle star won the Promising Young Actor of the Year at the Asian Business Excellence Awards – a testament to his promising career.

Josh has also dabbled into singing. He recorded a song titled "Am I in love" for the series "Maka," and another track called "Nahuhulog" for the series "My Guardian Alien."
6. He plays basketball
Aside from being an actor, Josh is also into basketball. As seen on his previous Instagram posts, Josh played with a basketball team in his hometown in Portsmouth, England.
7. A loving grandson
