Ejay Falcon concedes defeat in Oriental Mindoro 2nd district representative bid

Ejay Falcon has conceded defeat in his bid for Representative of the Second Legislative District of Oriental Mindoro in the 2025 midterm elections.

In a social media post, the actor said despite not winning, he is happy that he was able to give everything he could to show his pure intentions in serving his fellow Oriental Mindoreños.

“Nag desisyon na po ang Oriental Mindoreños, hindi man po pumabor sa inyong lingkod ang naging resulta, pero masaya po ako na ibinigay po natin ang lahat ng ating makakaya para ipakita ang malinis nating intensyon na malingkod sa ating lalawigan,” Ejay wrote, adding that he is respecting and humbly accepting the people’s decision.

[Oriental Mindoro has decided. It may not favored yours truly, I am happy that I was able to give everything to show my pure intentions at serving the province.]

As he returns to being a private citizen, Ejay vowed his service as a public servant will not end and that he will always be there to help his citizens. 

He also congratulated the leading candidate, PA Umali. 

“Congratulations po! Nawa po ang pagkapanalo nyo’y magbigay ng mas maalab na inspirasyon para lalong tulungan hindi lamang po ang mga taong sumuporta sa inyo kundi ang buong mindoreños ng segunda distrito,” Ejay said.

Ending his post, Ejay thanked his friends, supporters, and the people for believing and trusting him.

“Muli, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. Hindi po dito natatapos ang paglipad ni Ejay Falcon. Tuloy po tayo sa ating mga parangap. Mahal na mahal ko po kayo,” he ended.

As of 10:54 a.m. Tuesday, Ejay garnered 78,088 votes based on the partial and unofficial results. Umali currently has 99,700 votes.
