Marjorie Barretto took to Instagram late Thursday to thank her supporters as she accepted defeat in the mid-term elections.

"Hindi man tayo pinalad, lumaban tayo ng patas," she began her caption that accompanied an Instagram Reel of her campaign as she ran for councilor of Caloocan's first district.

"Maraming Salamat sa 112k votes. Grabe kayong magmahal district 1! Pinaramdam ninyo sa akin yan saan man ako nagpunta," she added.

As she thanked her volunteers and supporters, the celebrity mom vowed to continue her service.

"Hindi po tayo nagtatapos dito, pahinga lamang po ako [nang] kaunti at sa tulong ng Dyos matutupad pa rin ang mga pangarap ko para sa inyo ng hindi kailangan ng posisyon," she said.

In the comment section, her family and friends expressed support for Marjorie. "You have our support always, mom! We love you so much! And we’re very proud of you," daughter Dani said, while Arlene Muhlach wrote, "you fought a good fight, keep your head up."
