‘Mommy Dearest’ starring Camille Prats, Katrina Halili, Shayne Sava gets extended!

“Mommy Dearest” starring Camille Prats, Katrina Halili, and Shayne Sava has been extended!

The good news was announced during Camille and Katrina's guesting in Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” where they shared their joy and excitement. 

“Masaya po kami na ‘yung pinaghirapan namin, tinatangkilik ng mga tao,” Katrina said. 

“Parang medyo nagkaroon na kami ng kutob na it might be [extended],” Camille added.

The Kapuso stars also expressed their gratitude to supports of the show and asked for continued support as it gets extended.

“Sa lahat po ng sumuporta at tumutok sa ‘Mommy Dearest’ mula umpisa, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong pagmamahal at sa inyong walang sawang suporta. At sana po hanggang sa huli kung kailan man darating ang huling iyon ay samahan niyo po kami at talaga namang sabay-sabay nating i-witness ang kwento nila Emma, Olive, Jade at bawat cast ng kwento,” Camille said.

“Mommy Dearest” follows the life of Mookie (Shayne) who tries to navigate life despite her serious illnesses since childhood. However, her overprotective mother Olive (Camille) refrains her from going out and discovering the world, making Mookie seem like a prisoner in their own home.

Aside from Camille, Katrina, and Shayne, the series also stars Winwyn Marquez, Dion Ignacio, and Amy Austria, among others.

“Mommy Dearest” airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
