Ralph De Leon cries after nominating AZ Martinez: 'Nangingibabaw 'yung guilt'

In a rare instance, Ralph De Leon was pushed to tears after the emotionally taxing face-to-face nominations on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

Tuesday's episode showed Ralph talking to his duo partner, Will Ashley, about the nomination point they gave to their close friends AZ Martinez and River Joseph.

"The fact that they got us out of this situation and we put them in theirs, ang hirap lang tanggapin. I also saw how much it hurt AZ a while ago kasi I know exactly why those things happen and most of them were because of me," Ralph said.

In the confession room, Ralph told Kuya that, "nangingibabaw 'yung guilt." 

"Ako nga rin po 'yung tinatakbuhan ni AZ when it comes to her problems, her feelings, and her thoughts nga po, Kuya. The fact na ginamit nga po naming 'yung mga instances na ganon as a reason to give them points for nomination," he said.

He added that should he be in her position, he would not handle it well.

"Sa taong pinagkakatiwalaan mo pa talaga narinig 'yung mga bagay na 'yun, alam mong naging open ka, naging vulnerable ka sa tao na 'yun. Kahit papano di mo pa rin matanggal sa isip mo, Kuya, na binebetray mo sila, sinisra mo trust nila sayo," he said.

"Doon po talaga ako nahirapan, Kuya," he added. "Kasi alam ko pong hindi madali para kay AZ para mag-open up. Swerteng-swerte ako na sakin siya nagtiwala, doon po talaga nanggaling 'yung guilt."

Will, meanwhile, took the blame. He approached AZ and the two Kapuso actors had a heart-to-heart talk.

"'Yung nafi-feel mo, sa akin mo ibuhos talaga wag kay Ralph," Will told AZ. "'Yung duo na binigyan gamin ng points decision ko. Pinagkatiwalaan niya ko sa part na 'yun."

AZ admitted to Will that, "nasaktan ako, sobra."

"Pero gets naman. Kasi it's true," she added. "Hindi ako galit sa inyo, hindi ako mag-iiba sa inyo kasi core ko kayo oh."

Will replied, "We love you. Sorry."

This marked the first face-to-face nominations of the season.

The other housemates also wrestled with their feelings of hurt and guilt, like close friends Mika Salamanca and Bianca De Vera.

Shuvee Entrata also felt betrayed after getting nomination points from AZ.

Both pairs have since talked it out and made up.

DusBi (Dustin and Bianca), AzVer (AZ and River), and ShuKla (Shuvee and Klarisse) were the three nominated duos this week.
